The short version

Best Tinted Sunscreen is an independent editorial project funded entirely by affiliate commissions. When you click a "Buy on Amazon" or "Buy on StyleKorean" button and purchase something, we earn a small commission (typically 1–10% of the sale). You pay the same price you'd pay if you went directly to the retailer.

Which programs we participate in

• Amazon Associates Program (US). We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. "Amazon," "Amazon.com," and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
• StyleKorean and YesStyle: we may earn commission on purchases made through their affiliate programs.
• Other retailer programs: when we add new retailers, this list will be updated.

How this affects what we recommend

Our product rankings are based on quality — UV filter chemistry, real-world wear, shade range, ingredient safety, and community consensus — not commission rate. Several products in our rankings earn us less commission than others, and we link them anyway because they deserve the spot.

We do not:

• Accept payment in exchange for positive reviews
• Accept payment for link placements
• Publish sponsored content disguised as editorial
• Take free product samples in exchange for coverage

If a brand sends us a press sample and we write about it, that relationship is disclosed in the article itself.

FTC compliance

This site follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and the guidance set out in 16 CFR Part 255. Material connections with brands and retailers are disclosed "clearly and conspicuously" at the top of any article that contains affiliate links, and in the footer of every page.

What you can trust from us

We're a small independent site. What you can trust:

• Rankings are based on research and, where noted, hands-on testing — not on how much a retailer pays us.
• We disclose our methodology publicly, including which reviews are from personal testing versus synthesized research.
• If we get something factually wrong, we fix it. Email us and we'll correct the article (and credit you if you like).
